This earring is part of the “Sublime Devastation” collection.

The collection is exploring the history, contemporary development and future potential of the connection and disconnection between humanity and the ocean.
The Mutated Echinoidea Hook symbolizes the moment nature is taking back over. When humanity reconnects with nature and starts coming to an arrangement with it rather than fighting against it, nature will finally get the space to thrive again.

The earring is hand-modeled in wax and then cast in aluminum. The stud and all parts that directly touch the earlobe are sterling silver to avoid allergic reactions.
As the piece is entirely handmade by me in my studio in Cologne and cast through a company in Germany, please expect a production time of up to three weeks.
