This necklace is part of the “Sublime Devastation” collection.

The collection is exploring the history, contemporary development and future potential of the connection and disconnection between humanity and the ocean.
The Degraded Cephalopoda Necklace symbolizes the process of man-made structures degrading under the influence of the spreading ocean.

The necklace is hand-modeled in wax and then cast in aluminum. Additionally, parts of the necklace are held together by high-quality rope.
As the piece is entirely handmade by me in my studio in Cologne and cast through a company in Germany, please expect a production time of up to three weeks.
